
It is only an informed employee that can curb any violations that occur. I strongly advise contact with your various Union Stewards to stay abreast of any changes in the administration of the FMLA.
Unfortunately, there are some policies that are in the process of being changed in regards to the administration of the FMLA. Whether these policy changes are in the form of Department of Labor opinions, internal policies of the Agency, or any other forum, I don't believe that I'm on any "immediate notification" list to enable to address any such changes in a timely manner. However, as I discover these changes, they will be posted on this website once the information is verified.
